Carmen SE

The Carmen SE is a new take on our Carmen series of mixers.

New features include bigger VU meters, a staggered channel EQ layout, Urei type pointer knobs, a microphone input with a dedicated fader and the option of the FX send per channel mod (images show the FX send model).

The new staggered channel equaliser is based on the same celebrated 3 way EQ circuit that is found across our mixer range. offering a musical character and flexibility to cut and boost with clarity.

Three of our discrete phono pre-amps are standard, these will bring a well pressed record to life.

Fitted with our discrete Class-A 4 pole (24db/octave roll off per band) master Isolator,  recently re-tuned for a flatter response and greater band separation. Dramatic effects can easily be achieved when tweaked, its smooth character that perfectly compliments the rest of the Carmen's sonic palette. Topped with a true bypass switch providing a shorter signal path for listening sessions as well as becoming a frequency band kill switch.

We’ve handpicked some special components and shortened the signal path to improve the mixer’s overall performance (of course, these updates will be added to all of our current models, too). Australian distressed wood is now available as a case option with the introduction of this model.
